The Henien Aid project emerged as a result of researching the kindest, highest quality, most widespread, and sustainable method of serving meals.
While we can offer meals to those around us, there are many others in need whom we may not be aware of.
The most common method of serving meals to those in need is through soup kitchens. However, soup kitchens also have some disadvantages. For example:
- Quality and hygiene standards cannot always be maintained.
- Dependency on location and time is inevitable.
- There is a risk of producing too little or too much, leading to waste.
- Long queues and potential feelings of embarrassment for those in need can occur.
To address these issues and create a new generation soup kitchen project where none of these negatives are experienced, where quality and hygiene standards are ensured, where dependency on location and time is eliminated, where there is no waste, where those in need are not embarrassed, and where those who want to offer meals can meet those in need under the most optimal conditions, we developed Henien Aid.
In this system, meals are cooked using autoclave technology, packaged, and delivered ready to eat to the addresses of those in need.
- As production is centralized, quality and hygiene standards can easily be maintained at a high level.
- Thanks to autoclave technology, packaged meals can be stored at room temperature for up to 1.5 years, eliminating the need for a cold chain and ensuring food safety.
- Packaging the meals reduces waste, allowing those in need to consume only what they require.
- With the address delivery system, those in need are freed from dependency on time and location and can consume the meals whenever they want without any embarrassment.
- No food additives are present in the meals thanks to the cooking and packaging technology, allowing for easy consumption.
- Through the system established for identifying and verifying those in need, meals are delivered to the most accurate addresses - the true beneficiaries.
